5K for Life

Lost&Found Augustana is a campus organization committed to mental health awareness and suicide prevention on campus. Join the Augustana community to run or walk for life! This student-led and student-organized 5K is dedicated to lives impacted by suicide. Your participation will empower young adults to deliver education and implement suicide prevention programs on Augustana's campus.

DETAILS

• Check-In Location: Please check in at the Augustana University Commons Patio at the start of the event. Raffle tickets will also be available to purchase.
• T-Shirts: The first 30 participants to register and first 15 volunteers to sign up will receive free race t-shirts!
• Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, the rally and raffle will be held indoors at 9:00am, but the race will be canceled with no makeup date. Announcements will be made through email and the Instagram & Facebook pages of the Augustana University Campus Chapter. No refunds will be issued.
• Accommodations: If you are in need of accommodations, please contact the race coordinator[1] in advance to make arrangements.

8:30am: Check-In and Registration

9:00am: Rally featuring speakers Wendy Mamer and Erik Muckey, raffle prizes, and activities

9:30am: Run and walk begins!

VOLUNTEERS

Not up for walking or running but still want to donate your time? Sign up to volunteer on race day. The first 15 to sign up will receive a free race shirt and a raffle ticket! AU students will also receive service hours for campus organizations.

CAN’T RACE?

Your generous support of Lost&Found's programming on Augustana's campus may make a life-saving difference. If you can't race but still want to support our mission, donate with Venmo or via our fundraising page! Please write "AU 5K" in the comment box if you choose to give online.
