10 years of striving to end suicide, and we're just getting started.
Let's get to work. Read more and watch the video below!
On September 3, 2020, Lost&Found (EIN: 45-4306370) will celebrate 10 years of vision, leadership, and determined effort to put an end to suicide among young adults (ages 14-35) in the United States. Founded by a small team of University of South Dakota students in 2010, Lost&Found facilitates proactive, data-driven, public health approaches to suicide prevention on five college campuses (and counting!) in South Dakota and surrounding states.
As we look ahead to the next 10 years of impact, we need your help to raise $10,000 to support our Campaign for Campus Mental Health, a three-year effort to reach 25,000 college students with mental health and suicide prevention resources across five states (SD, MN, IA, ND, NE). If 100 friends, family members, and colleagues raise just $100 each, Lost&Found will receive up to $19,250 in matching donations and reach more than 8,000 students in the academic year ahead. Any amount you give can make a difference, whether $1 or $100.
As part of this campaign, we encourage any person interested to join our FOUNDers Club, a collective of over 50 community leaders and supporters who give an annual gift of $100 or more (<$9 per month) to ensure Lost&Found programs meet their 25,000 student reach goal. You can learn more about this program here.
Every dollar donated will go directly to provide support to students and campus leaders seeking to make mental health resources relatable, accessible, and available to any and every young adult in their community who needs support.
Help Lost&Found continue to create impact in our communities for the next 10 years. Help student leaders change the way we do mental health on our college campuses in South Dakota and around the country. Help our community put an end to suicide.
